A key to our success is the involvement of Bank of Elmwood’s employees in a variety of community organizations and events. We thank and acknowledge both our employees and a responsive community in helping us achieve this status.

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) is a federal law which affirms that financial institutions have an obligation to help meet the credit needs of their entire communities, including low and moderate income neighborhoods. Federal Examiners periodically evaluate a bank's performance in helping to meet these community needs.

Upon completion of a CRA examination, an overall CRA Rating is assigned using a four-tiered rating system. These ratings are: Outstanding, Satisfactory, Needs to Improve, and Substantial Noncompliance.

Bank of Elmwood continually strives to seek out and help meet the banking needs of our local communities. We believe that the strength of our company is directly linked to the welfare of the people and businesses we serve. To ensure that our resources are responsive to customer needs, we maintain an active program of listening and learning. We are proud to have received our third consecutive rating of “Outstanding” on our CRA evaluation. (Which, by the way, is very hard to come by!)

Bank of Elmwood is proud to be a leader in the charitable giving of financial support and volunteer hours in our community. Each year, Bank of Elmwood employees log countless hours in support of various events and organizations. Like you, we live and work in this community and care about the welfare of both its resources and people.

If you have an event or organization that you would like Bank of Elmwood to consider sponsoring, please complete the Donation Request Form. You may also call 262-554-5895 for further information.
